OSHA Accepting Electronically Submitted Injury, Illness Reports Through December 31 The U.S. Department of Labor’s Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will continue accepting 2016 OSHA Form 300A data through the Injury Tracking Application (ITA) until midnight on December 31, 2017. OSHA Recordkeeping – Electronic Reporting of OSHA 300, 300A, and 301 updated


OSHA has extended the required electronic reporting of illness and injury records until December 15, 2018.  Reporting requirements are based on size and industry type. Employers with more than 250 employees have to upload the 2016 OSHA 300, 300A, and 301s to the OSHA ITA – Injury Tracking Application – https://www.osha.gov/injuryreporting/index.html Employers with 10 – 249 employees in industries on the attached list must submit only the 300As from 2016. Genie Notice – Labels Incorrect


Genie has received reports of machine serial number labels printed with incorrect “Machine Unladen Weight” value, which could cause floor loading issues. The models affected are: S-100/S-105, S-120/S-125, and S-100HD. Please review the attached Notice from Genie on the affected models as soon as possible.  Genie_UnladenWeight    

Genie Life Recall


Genie has determined that the Operator’s Protective Alarm (OPA) installed on any of the models listed on page 6 of the attached document is equipped with a mounting bracket that may become loose. This may cause the OPA assembly to fall off the machine resulting in a collision hazard. Please review the attached Notice from Genie on those affected aerial work platforms Genie_SN 170004_Sept2017
