07:30 AM – Registration

08:00 AM – Lyme Disease Awareness – David Morrison

David is a long-term trainer for FirePro Tec, but, for this presentation he comes to us as he  continues to personally fight Lyme Disease.  He will share his knowledge of what has worked and not worked as he continues to battle Lyme Disease.

09:30 AM– 9:50 – Coffee Break and Networking

09:50-11:20 AM – Heat Stress Training – Jared Ulmer & Denise Alosa

Jared is the Climate & Health Program Manager at the Vermont Department of Health. He will discuss how hot weather is increasingly affecting Vermonters, and how we can expect risks to continue increasing for the foreseeable future. Denise Alosa is the Certified Athletic Trainer at South Burlington High School. She will share her knowledge and experiences with exertional heat stroke in athletic and occupational settings, including at the Vermont City Marathon.
